  • Mega Packaging Moves Toward Sustainable Manufacturing Through 100% Renewable Energy

Mega Packaging Corporation is strengthening its commitment to sustainable manufacturing with the adoption of renewable energy across its operations.

As businesses look for more responsible and efficient ways to operate, sustainability has become an increasingly important part of modern manufacturing. For Mega Packaging, this means continuously improving its operations while maintaining the quality and reliability that customers expect.

Mega Packaging began using Renewable Energy (RE) in November 2025 through the installation of its rooftop solar panels, with the installed panels able to provide 10% of the company’s energy requirements. Within a month, ACEN Res, a renewable energy solutions provider for businesses, entered into an agreement with Mega Packaging to supply the remainder of the company’s demands, marking a 100%-RE consumption for Mega Packaging before the end of 2025.

As a manufacturer of moulded foam products, Mega Packaging serves a wide range of industries and applications. Its operations require a consistent focus on efficiency, quality, and innovation. Integrating renewable energy into these operations provides an additional opportunity to improve how the company uses energy while continuing to meet customer requirements.

With renewable energy becoming part of its operations, Mega Packaging is taking meaningful steps toward sustainable manufacturing in the Philippines—one improvement at a time.
